Father's Day, Sherman M4 A? Dragon 1/35
First I want to apologize for the photos, I got this gift for my father done on the morning of Father's day and did not have time to take proper photos. Due to a hand injury, my timeline got seriously messed up. But here it is something other than a Star Wars kit! Dragon 1/35 Sherman a challenging kit with TONS of parts (it almost has enough for two versions)! For this build, I used the Ammo by Mig Solution Box for US European Theatre Armor (a little pricey but has 90% everything you need) AK interactive's weathering pencils but what really set it off was VMS (Vantage Modeling Solutions) Dark European Earth pigments with their Alkyd Binder check out VMS' Youtube channel for their great tutorials. For the base my standard sifted soil mixed with tile grout then I used VMS Smart Mud for, you guessed it the mud! As always thanks for looking and let me know what you great modelers think!

This is a great looking Sherman. Everything about it is spot on. These Dragon kits have a whole lot of tiny little parts... I have two of the 1/35 scale Dragon / DML Korean War “Easy 8” kits in the stash and have been summoning up the courage to start them.
The base you made for it looks great. You guys that build dioramas have skills that far surpass anything that I could ever do.
I don’t see any problem with the pictures you posted either. Overall I’d give this project two thumbs up !

Hopefully your hand is better now too. You don’t realize how much you miss the use of your hand until you can’t use it. Been there, done that... not fun.

@lgardner , Louis, thank you very much for your kind words and you're so right being down a hand made most things difficult and painful when forgetting the injured hand is indeed injured! By the way, I love your Tamiya 1/48 Ki-61 Hien "Tony" ! If you ever wish to venture into the diorama arena, I'd be glad to help in any way I can, at first I thought it too daunting but with the glorious invention of Youtube there are plenty of tutorials that break it down pretty good, then you can add your own artistic style which I can tell you lack none of!
