Do217N2
This is the ID vacuform kit 1/32 nd scale. This as built over a 5 year period, and I really ran into an issue with the nacelles. I had tried to strengthen them with resin and they severely distorted. It took me about a year to work up the gumption to rebuild them.
It is issued as a N1, but I wanted to do this as an N2. This means that the dorsal turret was deleted and the ventral gun position was removed with a fairing was placed to help with aerodynamics. The other add on for this model was the parachute housing at the tail end of the fuselage.

Represents aircraft from 6/NJG 4 Pilot: Feldwebel Gunther Konzack This was interred in Switzerland in 1944 after confusion on its directions and landing at a Swiss airstrip by mistake.

Great result(s), sir...vac's can be - and usually are - are real bear to get "right", but it certainly appears you've got the knack. Congratulations on a stellar build. Thumbs up!
This is really nice. I think, however, that it's a Do-215, due to the inline engines. the Do217 had radials. Just a typo there.
Anyone who can get a good result with an ID Models vacuform is doing something very very right indeed!
Tom, I can assure you that this is not a 215. The 215 flew with the DB601 engines while the 217N flew with the DB603 engines. Both liquid cooled engines. The Do215 was related to the D017 aircraft. The Do217N was a modification from the Do217E family, and ,indeed, the Do217E and Do217J flew with radials. Thanks for all the comments so far .
