Outpost in Libya, fall 1941

This article is part of a series:
  1. Sd.Kfz. 222 Leichter Panzerspähwagen
  2. Outpost in Libya, fall 1941

So I ended up building a diorama for my Leichter Panzerspähwagen but it needed something more than just the 222.
As I already had the anti-aircraft gun on my shelf, I decided to use that as it had some nice figures as well. There are also some blankets and other stuff from a different kit.
The tent was built with Milliput and some twigs. The sandbags were also built using Milliput and I think it all came together quite nicely.

  1. I can see a lot of thought went into your diorama. Nicely detailed. Well done.

There are things that I probably would have done differently looking back, but all in all, I'm happy with the result.
Thank you for your comment Craig

  2. Great modeling. The North African theatre 1941-1943 is together with Unternehmen Barbarossa my favorite epoch. Great build and skill level!

  3. Looks great, Geir. Really captures the look of combat in the desert.

  4. Fantastic dio. Geir, looks great!

  5. Nicely done! Love those desert sand colors.

  6. Beautifully done, Geir! Like Greg, I really like the desert colors. That big gun looks wicked and ready to do battle.

    Bravo!
