  2. Zundapp KS 750 with sidecar

So, I found this motorcycle kit from in scale 1/35 and thought to myself that I can build that, after all, I have built tanks in that scale. 🙂

The model was way smaller and fiddly then I expected and after completing it decided to cast it in clear resin, as it was too fragile to be put on the shelf by itself.

After the resin cured, I noticed a load of small bubbles in the resin and the motorcycle itself. 🙁

There is nothing I can do at this stage and after sanding and polishing it I can live with the way it looks. Think I'll keep it on my desk at work and have it to look at when my mind starts drifting.

  1. What a unique and interesting method of display. Nice...! 🙂

  2. Very good idea indeed, for the moment, I'm assembling the Zvezda R-12 heavy motorcycle, this tiny model is also very fragile, I can tell...

Provided you have a steady hand, these build into little marvels OOB, the only adjustments I made were spokes and spark- and brake lines.

  3. Really nice build and especially the presentation in the clear resin. I wish someone would make this bike in 1/9 scale so I could build it to go with the 1/9 H-D WLA I built two years ago.

  4. At last a child and pet safe way of displaying your models! Well done.
