I’m Back…Again!

Well it’s been quite a long time, but I’m back! I’ve been very busy for the last few months and I just got back to modeling.

This model is my most recent build, taking me a few months on and off. This is the tamiya 1/350 scale Japanese Navy Yamoto battleship. This kit was built out of the box, meaning no photo etched or wooden decking except the little ladder on the bridge, made out of extra plastic, because I thought that was a very visible characteristic that was not included in the kit. Also, next to it is a usa penny to show how big this kit is.

Yet me know what you think and thanks for looking.

  1. Good to have you back! What a start!

  2. Great looking Yamato, Noah!

  3. Great looking build and probably takes up a lot of shelf space. Lots of rigging.

  4. Actually, I don’t have a shelf big enough right now so I just have it sitting on top of my radio. And yes, the rigging took three to four days with many of them breaking along the way.

  5. My goodness, that’s a lot of guns! (didn’t seem to help much, though)
    Great build, thanks.
