RAF No 41 Squadron Typhoon. Hasegawa 1/72

October 8, 2019 · in Aviation · · 13 · 2.5K

Hallo everybody,

After almost two year I'm back on Imodeler. Unfortunately I' did not produce too much in this period.

I would like to share with you this Typhoon. Starting kit , scale 1/72. Build OOB for a collector. Not really worthy to show the WIP, since the only additional job was to rescribe panel line.

The bird belong to No. 41 Squadron of the Royal Air Force is the RAF's Test and Evaluation Squadron ("TES"), based at RAF Coningsby. ( Hannants Extradecals )

Please note that the yellow & black GBUs where used by a Luftwaffe twin seater, but the customer like to have it under this British bird, so its e bit a fake.

The greater success of this build, was the packaging of the model, resist the shipping by currier!

Cheers,

Roberto.

  4. Excellent Typhoon, Roberto! I especially like the "Seek" & "Destroy" on the canard. VERY cool!

  5. Fantastic work Roberto. Xtradecal has a lot of these special versions to offer, this version is certainly one of my favorites. Realy like the GBU's in this way.

  6. I do not consider Typhoon shape very actrattive. And the overall Grey cammo does not help to improve. I don't like Birds in commemorative scheme, but this case is an exception, the the red canard and the White tail add some point of interest.

  7. Hello Roberto,
    Compliments on all your contributions.
    Regards,
    Dirk
