Pfalz D III A 1/32 Wingnut Wings

November 28, 2019 · in Aviation · · 12 · 3K

Well, not my best job, but I enjoy to build this model.
My first , normally I work on 1/72.
A little bit of history from wiki: the D.III was a fighter aircraft used by the Luftstreitkräfte (Imperial Air Service) during the First World War. The D.III was the first major original design from Pfalz Flugzeugwerke. Though generally considered inferior to contemporary Albatros and Fokker fighters, the D.III was widely used by the Jagdstaffeln from late 1917 to mid-1918. It continued to serve as a training aircraft until the end of the war.
Every version of the box of Wingnut Wing is beautiful, for color or scheme.
I like bright colors, then blu and red.
I made my first without improvements, but it gives the possibility to create a real masterpiece.

At the next model...
See you

  1. More pix! I say, boy! More pix!

This is really nice. More pix!

  2. Your Pfalz D III is a real beauty ! For me it's a toss up between this Pfalz D III type and the Albatros D III (and D V) as to which plane is the most elegant of all WW1 aircraft. These WNW kits also seem to be a jewel... You build is superb, and I like it a lot. Nice choice of colors by the way. Jasta 15 I think ?
