Hasegawa 1/72 F-4S Phantom II
First of this project. It began in February, this one was finished this past weekend. I´m depicting a training load while land based.
Resin accesories: bombs, AIM-9L, MERs, wheels, jet exhausts, wheels, seats and mirrors.
Photoetched items for cockpit details, fuselage lamps, blade antennas, intake covers, ladder and misil rails. Turned metal probes. Aftermarket decals. Detailing and corrections from my own iniciative. Colors with enamels except for the fuselage bare metal areas where I used lacquers but acrilics for the burner cans.
Some cockpit details were simplified given the scale and the basic kit´s design, where RIO´s instrument panel sits too low on the kit and the existence of a complete horizontal surface between the cockpit cubicles, resin seats are short for the scale and clear plastic pieces are too thick.
We need a more updated and improved kit in this scale. (Hoping some manufacturers hear my prayers).

I find it hard to believe this is a small 1/72 scale model. The details you have built into it are incredible, and would look more at home on a much larger 1/32 scale kit ! This is an excellent build...

Wow! There's another reference for my 1/72 Phantoms project! Love all the detail you put into it (not that I'll try to mimic that!), and the paint work is fantastic. Love the subtle low-viz markings. What a beauty!
