Mustang Airfix 1/72
The Mustang is one of the most beautiful warbirds, especially in natural metal finish. The Airfix kit is rather good in shape, good fit, sufficient details for the scale, and cheap.
I build it from the box, and added a PJ Productions resin pilot. Paints are Vallejo.

Having had the pleasure of building one of these kits, I think it's safe to say the Airfix P-51D is the best in 1/72 scale.
