Vintage Revell Volkswagen Sedan 1:40 scale
In order to build some old models that bring me many memories, as already mentioned in previous posts about Revell Tradewind, I have finished the vintage Revell Volkswagen Deluxe Sedan Kit No. H-952: 59 - 1:40 scale, from the 1960s in Brazil. I got this model as an affectionate gift a few years ago from my friend Uncle Marcão.
The kit is from the Cadet Series which like the others in this series are very simple. I built as if it were in the past, only with a better painting, because at that time I had used brushes and now airbrush, desides different inks. The chrome plated parts have been restored with Chomenox ink. The windows were made of PET bottle and the case is from a 1/43 scale die-cast car.
Finally another model in my collection, which brings great memories of my childhood, both for me and my brother Pedrinho.
The model looks great! I still miss my ‘61 VW.
