Very nice! I see you have had the same issue I have had with the turret sitting high on the hull. I've read that by flipping the turret ring over it fits better, I haven't tried it though. I love the cut away!
You aren’t yanking our collective chain are you? Only your “first WWII German tank in 1/35th”? If this one is any indication of the high quality of your work, I would love to see what you’ll build next.. Phenomenal attention to the smallest detail. A real visual masterwork. Tell us more how you went about it, including the cutaways and weathering.
This is an amazing build ! I also like the cutaway... it reminds me of the full size German King Tiger they had on display at the Patton Museum of Armor when it was located at Ft. Knox... I am very impressed with this, especially if it's your first WW2 German tank. I encourage you to build more of them, many, many more of them... and post them here for us to enjoy.

@Eric: the manufacturer of model (number 5019) - RFM (RyeField Model), lets you choose between standard turret/hull parts and cut away parts of turret/hull.
@Eric, Louis: it is my first model of WW2 German tank, but I had a really good teacher and adviser during process of painting and weathering… please let me introduce you "WWII GERMAN LATE SOLUTION BOX - AMMO by Mig Jimenez" 🙂
