Submarines

December 30, 2019 · in Ships · 2 · 1.8K

I never took any photos during the building of these models, so what you see is it.
All of my submarines were built o.o.b. and painted per the kit instructions and places on the kit's little mounting stand. It was a joy to build them after I spent lots of time on aircraft models.

On some of the "SUB's" I used womens black hair to represent the cables from the front and back of the sub's to the conning tower.

I wrote on each digital print the name of each submarine including a date. As mentioned before on other models, the "value price" was for my special model insurance.

Enjoy!

  1. Nice collection of submersibles there Rodney.

  2. Hi Allan: These models were a joy to build...no cockpit, no landing gear's and more no, no's! I built a plastic 3 mast sail boat in the late '70's, but during a move from one residency to another one it got torn apart. I was always going to build another one just like it, but as you know, many times that does not happen.

    Thanks for your reply!
