Hasegawa 1/72 Mosquito Mk IV
Hello!
A friend of of mine had this kit for years, never tried to build it, but then he knew I was a modeler and, well, you know the rest. Not my favorite scale and, if I knew about this canopy assembly, with two halves to be glued and very hard to mask, it would be still un- assembled…but, anyway, here it is!
Cheers!

One of my favorite subjects and kits. Hasegawa when they first issued this kit took it on the chin with Tamiya, releasing their version shortly after. Both kits are priced about the same. With Tamiya offering superior details and more goodies to be had. However, if you can get this kit at a reduced price… they really are pretty good. Hasegawa managed to get the vertical tail right and in this scale you don’t always need the extra options. Or at some peoples age you don’t always see the details. Great paint job and weathering George.
Two thumbs up.
