F-4G WW Phantom Italeri 1:72

February 2, 2020 · in Aviation · · 6 · 4.4K

Hi to all
Again very old mold from , F-4G WW in , finished last year.
Even very old, i must admit that i enjoyed building it very much. OOB except some added details in cockpit, and used some of weapons from Hasegawa. Colors Vallejo acrylics, minimal weathering.
Best regards, Djordje

  1. Looks very nice.

  2. Oh wow! Nice to see one of those built these days. It was a nice kit. Funny thing, the Esci 1/72 F-4 is extremely similar but has recessed panel lines. I built a bunch of both kits back in the 80s.

  3. A Phantastic Phantom! Nice stencil work on the weapons.

  4. Well done Djordje, nice camo' and details.

  5. Looks lovely! I used the Italeri kit to create my Turk F-4E 2020 Terminator (just got the gloss-coat on over the weekend in prep for decals). I have many of the Italeri kits in my stash for my large Phantom project, as I read in a couple of places that the Italeri F/G/E kits have the most realistic slats and slotted stabs for 1/72, and many of the builds on my list require these.

  6. Hello Djordje,
My highest compliments with the result on this F-4G Wild Weasel.
The finish is perfectly. Also good photography.
    Regards, Dirk / The Netherlands.
