Messerschmitt BF109 G-10 JRV Revell 1:72

February 4, 2020 · in Aviation · · 6 · 2.1K

Hi all,

Again, from history.
Bf109 G-10 (Yugoslav registration 9644) "White 44". Originally aircraft was actually a Bf 109G-10/ U4 wk. nr. 610937 captured at Zeltweg Airfield in Austria at the end of the war. It was transferred to Bulgaria and at the end handed over to Yugoslavia.
The plane was based at Zadar airfield. Again one of the planes involved in Trieste crisis on 1950 (confrontation between Yugoslavia and Italy over the free zone of Trieste)

Model is old Revell , with corrections, replaced incorrect spinner, air intake, wheels, canopy...parts used from Heller and AZ Models. Added details in cockpit, rivets, glass armor behind the pilot, canopy was cut and positioned open. Colors Humbrol, weathering, oil paints and pastels.

And that is all...till next model...best regards to all.
