Heller 1/48 FIAT G91
Completed in June 2019 – Heller 1:48 FIAT G91 R1/R3 ‘Gina’. I have done it as one of the aircraft used by the US Army on trials. It is the R3 version with 4 x .5 Brownings.
Paints used are Vallejo Model color Light Grey (Air Brushed on), Vallejo Model color US Dark Green (Hand brushed on) & Vallejo Model color Orange Red (Air Brushed on).

Cool! I knew an Air Force pilot once that said “If God had meant the Army to fly he’d have painted the sky green”. LOL Anyway I love the subject totally different, well done!

Fantastic build! I have always liked the looks of this neat plane. It seems that there were two evaluation machines in Greece, end 1964, wearing greek markings, competing with the F-5s, the latter being selected by the Hellenic Air Force. Your build turned my apetite on. Now, in which section of my shelf of doom have I put my Heller kit?

Is this kit from the same molds as the ESCI kit?

It is a Heller repackaging of the very good Ocidental kit

Nice build, interesting scheme! It kind of resembles the Sabre jet.

Josh Patterson. I have no idea if it is the ESCI molds or a new Heller mold
