P 47 D-1 RAZORBACK 1/48
P47D-1 Razorback 42-7938 LM★S of lieutenant colonel Dave Schilling.
The plane purchased whit the subscription of the war funds and was christened " Hewlett Woodmere Long Island ".
SCHILLING used this plane to shoot down 3,5 Denny planes ( FW 190) and damage Me 210/410 in the period October/November 1943 .
Kit monogram P 47 D 1/48 scale ,decals Superscale ,verlinden usaf pilot figure .

At first glance these pictures you posted look like you have found some original era color photographs of a P-47 ! Very nice indeed... Looks good enough to be the real deal...and it's a Monogram kit to boot. Two thumbs up my friend.
I just went back and looked again. This time I noticed the .050 caliber MG's lying under the wing. One has the feed tray opened up ! Looks like the armorer is getting ready to swap out some .050's... nice touch.

Shot with some great photography and forced perspective to really pull off that moment or suspension of disbelief. Well done Valter. The photography looks great, this is proof that Monogram models can still cause a big appeal.
