PZL 11c

March 12, 2020 · in Aviation · · 8 · 2.3K

I picked this kit up a few weeks ago from a vendor table at a recent contest. It's the old PZL 11c. This is a basic but nice kit. I added some framing in the cockpit, seatbelts, landing strut bracing wire and antenna wires. The markings are a mix of the kit decals and some extras from the Arma kit, which I plan on starting soon.

  1. This looks really great! Nice work.

  2. Nice work! The PZL P-11 has been one of my favorite aircraft since my teens.

I just finished the Arma kit, and thus can confirm that it is very nice. One note, though; the instructions tell you to put the gun sights in the wrong way round, that PE 6 goes in front of PE 5. PE 5 goes in front, however. I thought it looked wrong when I put my PZL's sights in that way, so I went to Google, where it was easy to find photos of preserved aircraft with the cross-hair sight in front of the straight sight.

I 've always considered the 1/72 Heller kits to be very sweet and a pleasure to build.
