Tamiya 1/48th Scale Corsair
Well while we try and stay coronavirus free I am doing a lot of model building. Here is my finished Tamiya 1/48 scale F4-U Corsair. I have to say this was the worst fitting Tamiya kit that I have built. Weak wing assemblies, weak landing gear and lots of adjustments that needed to be made. The kit looks pretty good, but there was a lot of frustration which soured the build. Anyway here she is!

It looks great, just as it would operating in harsh PTO conditions. Kits with folding wings, open panels and exposed engines always seem to suffer regarding their structural integrity. The toll of the extra detail…
