Humber Scout Car Mk. II

April 18, 2020 · in Armor · · 4 · 2K

Another braille scale armour model: the Humber Scout Car Mk. II from . Details and fit are great, the instructions however are a bit vague regarding part placement. The markings are from 59th (Newfoundland) Heavy Regiment, Royal Artillery, a unit that took part in clearing the entrance to the port of Antwerp in October 1944. The equipment is from Black Dog Resin and weathering consisted of a black brown pin wash and 'mud' pigments from Tamiya's weathering set A.

I hope you like it.

  1. Nicely done, thought at first it was a larger scale.

  2. Strikingly realistic finish regardless of scale but even more impressive for 1/72. I would grow cross-eyed working on something so tiny, even with a visor.

  3. That's fantastic job, Peter! Hard to believe it's only 1/72!

  4. Thank you for your kind remarks!
