Hello friends, taking advantage of the quarantine, I chose to assemble a kit from another subject which I like as much as aviation, in fact it is my job, muscle cars ... In this case a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang, which I was as faithful as possible details to the real car such as; engine color, transmission, undercarriage, oversprays etc ..., And of course, the body color, true orange grabber period correct automotive paint which requires enormous attention, as the risk of damaging to the kit is great, it does not accept errors in the surface preparation, otherwise the finish and shine are lost. Great care when painting, degreasing and keeping dust away is extremely necessary. In the end, several stages of sanding and final polishing with products from automotive line also ... Again extreme care not to overdo and removing the varnish due to excessive polishing. enjoy ... Plus, his cousing, Boss 302 on the background...

  6. Absolutely stunning. Did you paint the chrome around the windshield and windows? Looks terrific. I did not know those cars were 'unibody' construction. Thanks for the effort and for sharing your artwork with us.
