Tamiya 1/20 Ferrari F189
One of a series of 1/20 scale Formula One cars put out by Tamiya with a focus on the late 80’s through early 90’s.
This particular car was driven by Nigel Mansell and debuted at the Portuguese Grand Prix in 1989.
These kits are great for micro-detailing, which I did none of. All out of the box.
I built this one three weeks ago in about four days, between sessions of iRacing.

What a car, what a driver (referred to as “The British Lion”), what an era, what a nice build, Bryan!
Though I admire and trully pay deepest respect at superdetailing, I praise (and I opt myself for) OOB builds – your model is perfect!
All the best!

Brian even as a model it just looks fast. Nicely done. And in case you haven’t seen the movie Ford vs Ferrari, I highly recommend it.
