  1. That's amazing work, Charles. Looks absolutely real. The hyd jacks, the yellow ladder, everything is superbly built and weathered.
    All the best!

  2. Charles, without even looking at the builders name I can tell it's your work. So life like.
    Without a doubt...SUPERB!

  3. You've done it again. That is outstanding work.

  4. I really admire the way you can reproduce all wear and tear effects often seen in heavy duty machinery, and you do them to perfection... Iā€™m a fan

    • Pedro, thank you. I do a lot of research to make sure I get it right. Maybe not all the time but certainly, majority of the time. I try to get it as right as possible. I appreciate your remark. It makes me feel I'm doing it right. Thanks.

  5. What a tease! Looks fantastic so far...

  6. That's what I used to do. John Deeres, '83 to '92. Bullwork.
The weathering is great. Looks just like well used Heavy Equipment. It's easier with HE cause you can go out and look at the real deal, right?
Are the tracks at the press guy getting bushings and pins? Take down the belly pan yet? That's the BEST.
    Great stuff so far.

    • Thanks Bill. I have not seen a real D9R before. Just did a lot of research on the net and Utube. The tracks are getting a complete overhaul. šŸ™‚

That is some fantastic weathering and wear effects! Really impressive, and looking forward to seeing the story you create in the diorama.

  8. I always love looking at your work Charles. As modelers, we all strive for realism, but you, sir, have truly mastered it!

  9. The king of realism!

  10. Fake! You can't kid me! You have cleverly photoshopped all these real things to make us think they are models - but they're not! They're the real thing!

Well, they certainly look real enough to make me have that as an initial thought, anyway.

    Super work as usual, Charles.
