1/72 Matchbox Provost (Pk-30)
I built this from the original Matchbox kit (2 colour) that was issued in the mid 1970's. I don't know if it was ever issued under Revell (it seems not). The decals had the usual residue of the Matchbox decals of the era when applying them, but they still adhered quite well with a little aid of Future, after around 40 years or more. I shortened the udercarriage oloes, rescribed the few panel lines that there are on the kit, added a rollcage inside the cockpit, modified the seats to make them a little more convincing, and added the dorsal antenna. Airbrushed with Revell 90 Silver.

Those old kits look great when built with care and skill as yours is. Inspired to finish the one languishing on my shelf of doom.
Very nice job and thanks for remind us how fun was to build Matchbox kits. Apart from the building, I see you have done at least a dark wash, and with just that it makes a huge difference from the times we flat hand painted them!

Its neat to see a oldie but, goodie turned into a kit that can holds it's own with today's kits.
The build is easy on the eyes with a smooth satiny finish. Excellent decal work too.
