A tiny gem of a model. The fact you managed to get that small plane rigged is by itself a feat. Good work
One of the more obscure WW1 planes that should have been better known. I have this kit and one day I hope to build it as well as yours.

Eduard's, from a kit. This is second relase of a same kit No. 8256,and i' ve got a new, improved decals for a lozenge, better than in the first relase, but still not exactly accurate.

As I heard "Aviatic" is far better than any Eduard lozenge.
Great job on the Siemens-Schukert. IIRC, this kit is one of Eduard's first kits, and Eduard also re-released a revised version some time later, to meet demand. This kit is one of the first to come with significant photo-etch, with most of the interior being PE; back then PE was relatively new to us modelers...and who had a folding tool to make those tiny bends? You have done an excellent job getting this model built...Congratulations!

Yes, this is a great Eduard relase, and, like with other Eduard kits, need a lot of dry fit, expecially before putting together fuselage halves. One problem that Eduard did never solves to the end is lozenge color on decals.
Anyway, mostly thanks to Eduard I did started WW1 1:48 adventures and i am still in.

I have to go along with Marvin Reyes as our time period for building models was in the 1980's and 1990's. If you wanted something for your model...you had to scratch-build it yourself. During the 2000's decade, "P.E." items came on the market along with cast-resin stuff.
I scratch build the cockpit and wheel wells for a 1/32 scale F6F-3/5 Hellcat, which was posted on "www.largescaleplanes.com," about 20 years ago.
It was nice to work with the new "P.E." parts, as it was a new learning experience.
Well, since i am 49... i know that time.. before PE and multimedia kit. Anyway, we are happy to live in "golden ages" of our hobby. Choices are endless.
