I'm not a tank builder, but I built a few tank and armor models! My finished models look like some of the models displayed here on "iModeler.com."
Mu question, (s) are.
Why do we paint the bottom of the steel tracks.
Why add other color's of model paint to areas that we know should really be painted "BARE-METAL?"
My "armor" models look great but I never painted the tracks with bare-metal paint.
The models look like they just came off the factories assembly line!
Should armor models have bare-metal paint applied to the track system?

Very much like the sheen of the paint. Refreshing from the ubiquitous flat finish we always see.
