Some odd old parts wanted...
Not sure if this is the place to post this, but I didn't see the marketplace in the groups section.
I'm looking for some old parts; need canopies for a 1/42 Strombecker / Aurora TT-1 Pinto, and for the 1/48 Hawk / Testors F2H Banshee. Hope someone can help me out, thanks in advance!
Hi Jaime. Hope this will help. I've built two Hawk Banshees & each time used P-51 Mustang canopies filed down. The length is about right & I found that the top of the forward frame can be rounded off to fit the windscreen of the kit, but it was better to source a replacement windscreen as well. I found the Hawk U2 was OK after some filing.
