Malaysian Armor build
Greetings to fellow imodelers ,
This time around I’m sharing my armor build which is used by the Malaysian Army , the PT-91M “Pendekar” and ACV-300 Adnan in digital camo variant. The model that I have used to produce the 1/72 scale PT-91M is the modelcollect T-72B which has the closest resembles to the PT-91M. Another armor built is the ACV-300 Adnan which is also modified from AFV Kit AIFV vehicle. Modifications were done using modelling board and other materials such as bondite , putty , plastic strip. The color code used was Nato Green , Nato Brown , Nato Black and sand sail via pre-cut digital masking. Overall it was quite challenging to make the modification as realistic as possible the other challenge was to make the digital camo to be as accurate as can be. Hopefully this article is helpful if you are interested in armors used by other foreign nation such as Malaysia.
Thanks for your time !

Excellent work especially on digital camo.
Is it as easy as on the video?

i wouldnt say its that easy but possible to do it…i spend one whole night doing the camo for 5 of those tanks… for four color layers….so its possible. using some pre-cut digital masking helped alot and saved time.
