Raid Hot Mama: Tamiya 1/48 P-47D “Razorback”.

kit, built OOB with the exception of seat harness. Gunze-Sangyo aqueous acrylics used. SuperScale decals.

42-27181 coded 2Z-D. White theater recognition cowl band. John Drummond held the rank of captain and piloted a P-47D Thunderbolt with the nose art "Raid Hot Mama" 405th Fighter Group. He was shot down over in 1944 near Giéville, France. During his time of service Drummond received the Decorated Distinguished Flying Cross, two Purple Hearts, nine Air Medals, and three Battle Stars.

  1. Well it ain't right to like a Jug with girlie art. Its not PC either. It's a slippery slope . But, this has to do with history and the truth. I 'm sticking with the truth.
