Icm 1/48 Polikapov Po-2

of the "Night Witches" 46th Tamahckoro Tb (Tamans Guard) Becha, Spring 1945. . Included at tge end of the pics are the Soviet women who flew these aircraft, on night time bombing raids behind German lines. Outstanding service, the Po-2 was loathed by the Germans.

Pictured is Natalya Metklin who passed away in 2005, and the last shot, some of the air crews at the end of the war in 1945.

kit, rigging done with EZ-line. Loved every minute of this build. My tribute to Women aviators in combat. Much respect.
