  1. Fantastic, Nikos.
I'm not really into boats/ships, but this is a superb build.
Especially since it is soo small.
The water effects look like real.

  2. Wow, Νίκο, this looks absolutely super!
    Very realistic and dramatic.
    Well done, my friend!

  3. Amazing work with the water - pouring off her as she surfaces. It looks just like a photo. I'm reminded of that moment in "Das Boot" where the two U-boats meet at sea in heavy weather.

    I like this a lot.

  4. Dramatic effect, I think it sure captures the moment very well. Can you elaborate on how you made this little gem Nikos? I would very much like to know it

  5. NIcely done Nikos. I build full hull so that I don't have to mess with seascapes, however you've done that better and modeled under the waterline, which is very appreciable. I love it!

  6. Alarm! Very well done.

  7. Very cool and very dramatic.

  8. Thank you everyone for the encouraging comments.
For those interested, I made a container from thin plexiglass, and suspended the sub at the correct angle and height. Then poured the resin. Immediately I placed cotton around the surface and pushed it in around the sub and the propellers. As the resin hardens, the cotton traps air bubles which give a nice effect. Once everything was solid, I placed the surrounding cotton with gloss acrylic medium.

  9. Nice work and an excellent presentation.

  10. I like this a LOT! Great work, and such a small subject!

  11. That's stunning mate!
    Really impressive!

  12. That is the coolest thing I’ve seen in along time.
