1/35 ICM Zil 130
On the 26th of april 1986. Chernobyl disaster happened. From the earliest age I was fascinated with the story of Chernobyl. Films, documentaries, pc video games, books…
And finally ICM decided to pack their Chernobyl sets. I bought set #1 and did this ZIL 130 with driver, more figures and checkpoint are yet to come.
I don’t want to write much about ZIL 130, I’ll just say some words about the model itself.
Whole progress of putting together is very strightforward, without any problems, except the cabin which didn’t want to come togeher, then came the horror with clear parts for windshield, also I think that some parts of the model are overenginered, but ok. Be careful while attaching main compartment to the chasis, chasis tends to bend after glueing main upper compartment.
I’ve painted the model with lacquers and put the driver on his seat. I did some weathering, but I’ve tried not to owerweathered it. I used trustworthy Abteilung 502 oils for this tusk.
Awaiting Your comments, cheers 🙂
