  1. Lovely work on this Spitfire , I built the Eduard IX and used the same decal sheet but I think yours looks better .

During this conflict both sides ,Egyptian and Israeli airforces used Spitfires the main difference being that the Egyptian aircraft where supplied legitimately by the British government and maintained by RAF mechanics and the Israeli aircraft were mostly cobbled together using anything they could find from damaged repairables to abandoned crash sites from WW2 and the Israelis still managed to beat them up... gotta admire those guys.

Well done on an excellent job.

  2. Great model and great scheme, Spreitzhofer family!
What Neil @neil-foster states above is so true: I admire Israelis too,: they made maximum usage of whatever they had available, their results being really excellent. A habit they still have.

  3. Nothing short of professional.

    Two thumbs up.

  4. Unusual markings on a greatly build Spitfire, Reinhard.
    Well done.
Nice information provided by Neil as well.

  5. As big fan of Spitfire, I can not be objective, but this is beautiful build from every point, details, colors, weathering...fantastic.
