COVID No.12 1/32 IBG Pzl-11c
In total summation of this kit- WOW! I could not believe the plastic when I opened the box for this kit. I had built several kits of this bird over the years, but this in a totally new league of detail. The wing and fuselage corrugations are incredible in detail. The instructions are somewhat vague in several areas. The interior is very well done. Also, be very careful when fitting it into the fuselage. The engine and cowling assembly is tricky. After fiddling with the fit here, I modified my approach on building and mounting this unit to the fuselage. It’s just what worked for me- one of those “some modeling skills required “ moments. Wing fit is very positive with the fuselage. The remaining build went well, and primarily OOB. Paint used on the exterior was AK gelbolive RAL color mixed with some white and yellow (near the AK field drab color). Honestly this is a tough color to get “correct”!? Because of its tendency to fade. The undersurface was easier. I used AK Air superiority blue. In order for the decals to settle down, I started with MicroSet under each decal, followed with several applications of the Set followed with damp cotton t-shirt to press decal into the corrugations were needed. After this, MicroSol was used several times and again followed by pressing into the corrugations. In the end, I was extremely pleased with the results.

This is a really nice build. With the right background shot, lighting and move the camera back a bit your build will probably fool some people to think this is a real PZL P.11c. Nice work, looks great!
