F4U-4 CorsairHasegawa 1/48

Hello! This is a kit I finished around 2006. I remember I used a Verlinden resin and photo-etch detail set for the first time to show one wing folded and the inside of the gun bay on the other wing. I remember doing a lot of cutting and sanding on the wings, and also lowering the flaps. For the paint I used Tamiya acrylics. Thank you everyone for your comments!

  1. Nice, one of my favorite Corsair schemes!

  2. That's a lotta work on that kit. Great result. One of the oddest Corsair schemes of all.

  3. Very nice build, Christopher.
A not so often seen scheme, but it looks great.
Those open gun bays and folded wing are a great addition to this build.
