Used for attacking Iranian boats - one frigate was sunk during the Operation!

Bad build, but hope the camo makes for it.

  1. The cammo is outstanding.

  2. Marcus, some really strong work in the paint dept. A real eye catcher.

    Two thumbs up.

  3. I really like the scheme on this one! My old Italeri 1/72 build was in the two-tone grey markings, but I may have to do another that looks like this - a much more interesting scheme. You pulled it off really well.

  4. Very nice! I remember this operation, I had not been in the Navy too long and we were in Fallon Nevada doing air wing training prior to our next deployment. We figured we would be headed there, which did not turn out to be so. Anyway great build!

  5. Not bad build at all, Marcus @mvtb!
    And the camo is outstanding!
I had the pleasure to follow your build. Thanks for the ride!

  6. Great paintwork, Marcus! Interesting subject too. You always see these built in VN or Desert Storm colors.

  7. It turned out to be a fantastic build, Marcus.
    That scheme is awesome.
Thanks for sharing your building progress.

  8. Great looking SLUF!

  9. 🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
A very accomplished Corsair model Marcus.
The camouflage scheme, as the other fellow modelers have stated
is a very efficient way to distract from the slight negative aspect of the build
and as we all can see ... the results speak for itself.

  10. Turned out great, Marcus, and, as said above, the camouflage really sets it off, definitely liked.

  11. Thanks folks, all the best for you all!
