1/35 DML Tiger I Mid Command Version

I wanted to try the Zimmerit stickers from Tamiya and see if I can avoid using putty. The result turned out to be better than expected. As the stickers are for Tamiya kits, there was some misalignment, but it wasn't difficult to fix. You could use some spare Zimmerit to fill in the gaps.

I added two figures from Minicraft. I think I overdid the mud weathering on the tracks.

  1. Well done Tiger. I don't think you've over done the road wheels at all. Some tanks get down and dirty Thomas. Cameo and the figures really stand out .

    Two thumbs up.

  2. That's probably the first time I've ever heard anyone say they've overweathered a tank. It looks fine from here. I too like the fine camo patterns and the figures.

  3. That’s really well done!

  4. Awesome build. Beautiful! I never get tired of a good Tiger I!

  5. What a beautiful Tiger, that Zimmermit looks very realistic

  6. Thanks for the comments.

  7. Love this Tiger, Thomas.
And the weathering is very realistic, not overdone at all!

  8. Thomas:

Great Tiger! I do not think that you overdid it with the mud. The wheel arrangement was prone to attract mud.
