Thanks for sharing, Tom!
Coming back to modeling is a good thing, even due to those “unforeseen” circumastances.

A couple of weeks ago, before this new, 2nd generation, lockdown, I had a chat with one of the owners of a local shop here in Lisbon and he told me 2020 had been one of the best years, if not the best, for his business. I guess this article hit the nail for the reason behind such uplift in sales. Thank you for sharing it with us

If that guy in Belgium just got around to finally building his “stash,” I just wanna know how he got so good first time out the gate with that Tiger thank and the figures. 🙂
Seriously, follow the link to that FleeceBlock photo.
For me as a writer and modeler, the past year has been “Spend the day in a room, not dealing with people? What’s new?” 🙂

The article says “he first completed a series of 1/24 scale rally cars.” And I suspect he used to do a lot of modeling, but then stopped (why else would he have a stash?). It’s like riding a bicycle again. One or two rides and your skill is right back where it used to be. 🙂

Great to hear people find a way back to simpler times doing craft.

It is really good to see people enjoying hobbies and you can do it without a mask. 1/144 or 1/1 it is good for the soul but maybe not so good for your fingers.

The pandemic increased my production. I finished 12 over the last 12 months. I normally manage 8-9 per year.
