Built 5-10 years ago. Took some final pics before the clear flat coat deteriorates more. kit, decals from and sparesbox, fuselage and canopy side armour from Tamiya, painted with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics. Seatbelts, brake lines and some landing gear detail added.

Sturmstaffel 1 was active from Oct. 19th 1943 to May 8th 1944 under its CO Major Hans-Günther von Kornatzki. The unit was established to encounter and intercept the enemy 4-Mots. Due to weight reasons the fuselage gund were often removed. After Sturmstaffel 1 was disbandoned it became 11./JG3.

  1. Very nice work as always, Reinhard. @grimreaper
    Is that spinner hand painted?

  2. Lovely job, Reinhard!

  3. Maybe you could put a fresh coat of clear on it? My models aren't the finest-looking but they are tough. I overcoat the cr@p outta them. In my case lacquer straight outta the can. Once they're done I want them to stay done. A few are pushing 50.
These armored 190's are just cool, beautiful as always.

Very nicely done. I am currently building the Eduard version of the same plane.
