Also resin wheels.
The model is perfect fitting with a lot of detail. Very happy to build and i would happy do it again.
The colous i used are
Gunze H-325 Gray satin (the same as H-315 but more glossy)
Gunze H-316
Winsor varnish.
I hope you like it.
Thank you very much

  1. Outstanding! Beautiful looking Crusader

  2. Ditto, the cockpit and the ejection seat are models in and of themselves. Glade you took photos of the pit and seat separately.

    Two thumbs up DIONYSIOS MOYKRIOTIS.

  3. Always a fan of the Last Gunfighter. Your model turned out really well. I do like the weathering as it fits the rough environs of carrier aviation.

  4. Nice clean work! I’ve liked the F-8 since I was a kid. Time to build one, maybe.

  5. Fantastic achievement, Dionysios.
That ejection seat is indeed a work of art.
And the rest of the build as well.

  6. Nice work and a super result.

I wish Eduard had taken the opportunity to include the necessary stuff to raise the wing properly, as 99% of Crusaders are when sitting there on the flight line. The only ones who ever did was Cutting Edge - a nice expensive conversion.

  7. Fantastic build all around Dionysios, that ejection seat could be a iMod post all on its own.
Great choice on the squadron and colours!
I've had my 1/72 VMF(AW)-235 Death Angels Crusader on my shelf for over 30 years!
    Hasegawa kit I believe.

  8. This is such an amazing result, φίλε Διονύση!
Cockpit and seat are spotless (as is the rest of the build).
Excellent painting and VERY realistic weathering!
    Συγχαρητήρια!

  9. Love that colour scheme and the weathering looks just right, definitely liked.

  10. Really like the well used finish.

  11. a real beauty! Looks a little naked without sidewinders on the rails... 🙂

  12. Well-done. And your seat-work is a highlight, a masterpiece.

  13. Job well done. Those Eduard guys know what the modeler is looking for.
    The result is stunning.
    Regards, Dirk.
