F4U-5N 1/48 Hobby Boss Fuerza Aerea Hondurena
In July 19th,1969,Maj.Soto, piloting FAH 609,shot down 3 A/Cs from El Salvador. Cavalier F-51D FAS 404 and Goodyear FG-1D FAS 202 and FAS 204.
I interest about “Soccer War” long time. This is 100 hours war fought by El Salvador against Honduras in 1969. In military aviation history, La Guerra de las 100 Hora is especially relevant because it marked the worldś last combat between propeller driven aircrafts.

Nice job on your Corsair, Josef.
What COLOR from what paint line did you use? It’s super.

Hi i try new technique. All kit spray Sea Blue from AK Real color and in second step i shade heavy diluted Sea Blue from Tamiya. Thats all. And i use panel liner from AK for blue and gray camo

Very nice build, Josef
Not very common to have markings on the wingtips.

I have a Lindberg F4U-5 in the stash, never thought of using these markings, until now. This is wonderful. I really like the low-angle pictures. Nice work.

A real beauty! I built a pair of Soccer War Corsairs also – an interesting conflict, especially in pitting Corsairs against each other.
