Dora Wings 1/48 MB-155

May 29, 2021 · in Aviation · · 13 · 2.1K

The MB-155 was the last development of the 150 series to see service. This is in the markings of GC I/1 Cne Germain Coutaud, who scored 8 victories in 1940 in the MB-152 and 155, making him one of the few Bloch aces (perhaps the only one). The MB-155 did not reach squadrons until June 1940 and only 10 had been taken on charge by the Armistice.

The kit is very similar outside of detail differences to the MB-152 and assembles similarly.

  8. These Dora Wings kits really build up nicely, Tom (@tcinla). Where do you put all of these kits you are building?

    • @gblair - on shelves till they bore me, then in boxes in the garage. Used to take them out to Chino, but now that Ed's gone, the people running that place don't "get" models anymore.

  9. With that many models . . . TC's Coffee house, movie theater, book store and Modeling Musesum. Heck your half way there. . .Saturday is movie night. Book readings on Sunday. Weds is modeling day .

  10. Well - I'd show up at TC's Coffee House, next time I'm in that vicinity! Another nice model.
