FAZZ Ver Ka 1/100

May 5, 2021 · in Sci-fi · · 13 · 1.6K

Well it’s been a minute since my last post. It took about 3 kits to get back into the groove. Finally back at it and pleased with how this build came out. Tried some new weathering products and some tried and true products and techniques on this build. Also more dabbling in adding LEDs to these Bandai kits.
As always thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think!

  1. That's a helluva squirrel rifle ya got there.
Wouldn't wanna go up against that thing.
    Like the weathering.

  2. Love it too, Travis.
    Very very mean!

  3. I'm not a sci-fi guy, but some great paint work and weathering!

  4. OK, this is just cool, Travis (@Snaps0351). I am trying to resist the urge to go out and buy one.

    • @gblair , definitely look into getting one the engineering is amazing on these things! Don't get discouraged by the outrageously nontactical colors they come in because you can always paint your own color schemes. That's half the fun for me is figuring out how to make them look more tactical! I would look into the Master Grade line (MG for short) as these kits are a larger scale and have a ton more detail. These kits are also great for adding detail as well as there are a plethora of aftermarket parts such as photo etching, metal, and other plastic accessories that can be purchased. If you're more of a do it your self guy there are also tons of youtube tutorials on using styrene sheets, tubes, and whatnot as well as how to scribe extra panel lines! Again definitely at least worth a look into.

  5. Awesome paint and weathering.

  6. Looks cool. Nice colour tones and some interesting patterns on the paint work.
I am looking at this on my phone and the photos appear quiet dark making it difficult to see the finer detailling. Maybe you could add a photo with full lighting ?
    Thanks

  7. Brilliant work man, looks like a really old tank transformed into a massive Gundam, what great weathering and chipping and painting. Excellent.
