1/72 Revell S-100 class Boat

July 26, 2021 · in Ships · · 6 · 2K

WIP on my S-100 class boat.

Paints used are Vallejo Model Color Tan Earth for the wood parts, Vallejo Model Air White Grey for the sides and superstructures, Vallejo Model Air AMT-11 Blue Grey for the decking, Vallejo Model Air German Grey for the lower hull, Vallejo Model Color Bronze for the propellers (not yet installed) and a mixture of Vallejo Model Color Saddle Brown & Natural Steel in 70% to 30% for the anchor and the tops of the boats gaff hooks.

The Model Air Colors were air brushed on the rest are hairy stick painted. Will be using the Vallejo Air White Grey with a brush to do touch ups once parts are glued in place.

  1. I know that's a large kit. It's going to be a beauty when you get it done.

  2. Nice progress, Phiilip!

  3. Looks good, Phillip (@phillipe50). The Revell S-Boats build into a really nice model. Looking forward to the rest of the build.

  4. Classic model! Had two cracks at it already! Looking good!

  5. Finally calling this as complete - my 1/72 Revell S-100 Class Schnellboot.
Had to wait for the Peddinghaus-Decal sheet to arrive from Germany. I only used the one set so I now have spares of several 1/72 markings for different S-100 class boats. So now to purchase some more kits of this type of E boat:
