July 12, 2021 · in Aviation · 26 · 1.6K

Hi,

I am quite happy with the result of this new series done. It is a not very common aircraft and I believe that we were able to represent many variants of it

As always, we could not make it ourselves but we help from much knowledge people who kindly share with us their photos, information, etc. We would like to especially thank Carl Vincent, Phil Listemann, Stefaan Bouwer, Jagan Pillarisetti, Nicholas Millman and Piet van Schalkwyk.

My father did a great job on these models. He made the following aircraft (18 models):

Curtiss Mohawk III AR633 RG-E 510
Curtiss Mohawk IV BK585 AAE&E 1/11/1940
Curtiss Mohawk IV AX891 4 Takoradi route
Curtiss Mohawk IV 2508 3 SAAF Nakuru Kenia
Curtiss Mohawk IV 2540 G 6 SAAF Durban 1942
Curtiss Mohawk IV BJ441 OQ-J 5 RAF Derek Wicks Dum Dum late 1942
Curtiss Mohawk IV BB975 OQ-X 5 RAF
Curtiss Mohawk IV LA164 151 OTU Risalpur
Curtiss Mohawk IV BS790 WPB 169 Sqn Ldr W Pritt Brown Agartala, India late 1942
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Mohawk IV DR764 Mohawk IV DR764
Curtiss Mohawk IV BS734 A 155 1943
Curtiss Mohawk IV BJ545 C 155 Sqn Ldr Jeffries Imphal, India 1943
Curtiss Mohawk IV BB977 D early 1943
Curtiss Mohawk IV BS975 W 155 early 1943

Here are the final photos.

I am working quite hard for our P40 series which will probably be around 100 models.

Cheers

After doing 62 North American Mustang, this was a short series.

i am working on the P40 series which will be around 100 models. The third largest series after the Spitfire and the Hurricane.
