  1. Wow, I haven't seen one of these kits in 20+ years, like maybe back to 1998 or so. You're the only other person I know who did one.

Very nice work on it. I still think it is the nicest, best-looking C.200 out there.

    Here's mine...

  2. Beautiful work Valter! Love the paint scheme and very nice presentation.

  3. Great build, Valter @zagorten27
Awesome work on the camouflage and the weathering.
Those black/white images do make it look like it is a real one.

  4. Great job on your build, looks great! Plus I always like the way the Macchi C.200 looks, you build captured it perfectly.

  5. Again, lost of words, Valter: this is a wonderful job!

  6. Absolutely stunning!

  7. One word... superb. Your very subtle rendition of the Regia Aeronautica mottled colour scheme, Valter, is wonderful in its exection. A lovely build too - very well done... ;-).

    Regards,

    Paul

  8. Totally bluffing. Bravo!

  9. Great work on a not so great kit!

    • @dtravis - I know what you mean about the kit being solid resin pieces, but I have to say from my experience of doing it and doing all the other 1/48 C.200 kits, it's not appreciably worse in assembly and actually easier, and like I say, the end result looks better.

      • @tcinla I had both the early and late series Astro MC 200 kits. My copies were badly warped and the fuselage halves didn't align worth a damn. I also think surface detail is grossly overdone and the canopies totally sucked. Until we really get a modern new tool kit the Pacific Coast rendition to me is still the best bet in 1/48.

  11. That is a great-looking build! Love the paint work - nice subtle touch to the splotches. Well done.

  12. Great work on a really great airplane. Well done.
