Loved building this kit. 10/10 would build again if the kits werent rarer than hibs fans at a home game 😉

Decals liberated from an old tornado kit, paint scheme roughly that of a 90's F4 Phantom II, dog hairs courtesy of my pooch.

  1. I really love this. Much more fun to look at than the standard "black scheme"...

    • I agree. but hten even green and grey has its limits. im gunna get another kit if i can find a reasonably priced one, and do it with a little more funk this time. maybe a digital desert scheme, or an israeli scheme, those are always great

  2. This is an amazing whatiffer, Tam, built and painted excellently!
I'm sure RAF would have acquired the F-19 should it have existed!

    • Thanks. Whatifs are my thing really, i have a Scottish Air Force MiG 29 in the works at the moment as well as a few others. I'll post more of that when i get time

      • I didn't know that Scotland had its' own Air Force! LoL!
"I have a Scottish Air Force MiG 29 in the works ..."

My Scottish wife never mentioned that little tidbit. Matter of fact, Scotland doesn't have their own Army either - much as they would like! (She was in the WRAC - "Women's Royal Army Corps" for 4 years. The WRAC doesn't exist any longer. Women are simply part of the British Army now. The WRAC was ALWAYS part of the British Army, but it was changed & integrated into the Army thanks to Equal Rights and political correctness.)

  3. A camo UFO - very nice!

  4. But I sure do like your M-19 stealth plane!

  5. Wonderful Whatiffer stealth, Tam @fow_models

  6. Looks like you had fun.

If His Messed-Hairness keeps up, you may have your membership in the EU sooner than you think. 🙂

  7. Very nice work and very imaginative...and no one can ever tell you that you missed a step! BTW, has there ever been a 'What If' aircraft group build?

  8. Well done, Tam (@fow_models). Building kits like this, without worrying about making them look like the original, is a lot of fun. I remember building this a long time ago, but yours definitely takes the prize for coolness.

    • Thanks. I also did the kit back in the 90's when it was first released, but in its standard, black colour scheme. The joy of building these aircraft that never made it to production is that you have licence to do exactly what you want with them. I dislike the constraints of 'normality'

  9. Very nicely done - Love the scheme you've made - looks awesome.
