LANCASTER Mk1 Heavy Bomber 1942

This is the Lancaster i built for a friend of mine in 2018. This Particular Aircraft was shot down on Dec 31st over Germany by a Me110 2 engine fighter. No one survived. Built from pine, from scratch, detailed also with the help of a Wood burner as well as the engraved mount. This aircraft had a cross & Crew.

    The wood burning does add a lot of realism.

  3. Nice job, this is how guys made model kits back in the 30’s to the mid 50’s until plastic injection model kits took over.
