Nissan R90VP "1991 JSPN Italya Team"1/24 Hasegawa

Hi,

Happy new year to all of you!

Here is my first finished model in this year and boy ... what a kit.

First of all i didnt research this kit before i buy it and what a surprise. This kit is 20year old so there is not small but big differences even betwen body and photos at the front of box! So I decide to do it as close as possible to pictures at box. My research lead to only one think, three photos included at the side of box are only three that i was able to find, and if Iam correct it was because this car run like 2 races and then it was destroyed. If not everything is correct Iam sorry but this kit is nothing that should cost same as new kits from Hasegawa etc.

Anyway, I was also finding some detail sets for this kit but gues what ... no chance šŸ˜€ there are a lot of Nissans R9* but nothing for this kit exactly and I dont want to spend more gold for this not great looking kit. So my decision = LOW BUDGET -> build only from that you have at home.

And here is result, it cost me one beer can, few aluminium tape, black duck tape and some other stuffs.

The main upgrades i did - grills on the engine cover at back. Exhaust cover are upgraded, from mask and holder of wing.

At the end I was really pleased with this result, even this crazy pink color looks awesome. And thats it šŸ™‚ my first model of 2022!

  3. Radek, this is eye candy modelling šŸ˜‰
Iā€™m not a car model guy, but this Pink racer sure caught my attention. Perfect paintwork and a look that just seems real, fantastic

  4. A high quality build, Radek @bradeq
You definitely set a high standard for 2022.

  5. stunning!...congrats!

  6. A professionally built model. Doesn't look low budget with the detail payed attention to the tires and the paint job which, echoes the real car . The decals don't look like decals and the photography is worthy of being in hardcopy. Something to write home about Radek.

    Two thumbs up.

  7. Wow, that is beautiful Radek! As a long-time Nissan fan (and owner!), I loved seeing this one! ?

  8. For a kit so bad, you got a great result - "some modeling skill required" on display here.

  9. Radek, I'm not a car guy but this build could spark the interest...very nice and very cool. Well done, great results!
That's a very interesting "salmon" color.

  10. Beautiful model and photography. Top notch result.

  11. Looks great! Nice job!

  12. Love the color! I lived in Japan for 4 years and one of the things I loved were the often unusual colors of everything from cars to truck to busses, to trains and race cars! Reminds me of my years there, thanks for sharing!

  13. Absolutely nothing wrong with this Build Radek - excellent work - if it was a bad kit it doesn't show at all - incredible - love the colour.
