Airfix Starter set challenge! 1/72nd Spitfire Mk.Vc
Here is a sneak preview of my entry into to the Airfix starter set challenge (video will be up next monday at 1500 GMT)
If youre unaware of the Airfix starter set challenge, It was started by Model Minutes on youtube, and is a challenge to complete an Airfix starter set of your choice, using only whats in the box, and minimal other tools. In this case, i allowed myself a craft knife and sanding stick. Everything else used to achieve the finished item was what was supplied in the box, ie, poly cement, paint, brush etc. No extra items such as decal setting solutions, or gloss/matt coats etc.
How on earth did we cope before all the helpful tools we use now?!

not a chance im afraid! i dont do 72nd, i only did it for this challenge. no plans to subject myself to that again!
Beautiful result, literally out of the box, Tam! We did cope as kids without the super tools we now have...
...and we had great times back then
do you know, im fiarly certain that a better result that I've achieved there than all the tools i usually use.
